Embracing the spirit of European fourth-wave coffee, Adapt Cafe aimed to disrupt Portland's scene with a bold twist. Inspired by iconic Brutalist architecture, we collaborated with the owner to craft a brand identity that challenged conventions. Exposed concrete textures, clean lines, and a touch of industrial edge permeated the design, reflecting the cafe's dedication to quality and innovation.
However, the global pandemic threw a curveball. Launch deadlines shifted, demanding flexibility and unwavering commitment. Through two years of close collaboration, we kept the vision alive, fostering trust and adaptability. Today, Adapt Cafe thrives as a local favourite, its Brutalist design echoing its unwavering spirit and dedication to the craft.
